Notes
Several populations in continental Thailand are likely to be distinct subspecies.
The population in western Thailand: Male is large size like ssp.merguia and has a very similar blue band on the UpH, but the ground color on the underside is very pale. The female has very large yellow spots on the upper side of both wings.
The population in S.E.Thailand: Female is slightly similar to ssp.agosthena, however the white markings at the base of spaces 4-6 of the UpF are much smaller.
Further taxonomic study is needed.
