Notes

Tshikolovets (2020: 79) treated lhatso, senseiensis, pacifica, funebris, funeralis and dubernardi as "superspecies lhatso" and these taxa as separate species. Todisco et al. (2024) treat lhatso and funebris as subspecies of lhatso based on molecular analysis, and funeralis, senseiensis, dubernardi and yaonica as incertae sedis (? subspecies of lhatso). Furthermore, the taxon pacifica is treated as incertae sedis (possibly a separate species).
Very interestingly, their phylogenetic analysis shows that funeralis and sensiensis do not belong to the lhatso group but in the brahma group. It is possible that they belong to a different species group than their external features, based on morphological similarity due to their being mimetic species. I am tentatively treating funeralis as a distinct species until it is determined which group it belongs to. The genus Calinaga is extremely difficult to identify by morphological characteristics and requires a comprehensive verification, including examination of genitalia and further DNA analysis.
