Notes

The butterfly is rather localized and found in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 200 - 1200m).
Two specimens were captured at Di Linh, Lam Dong, 1200m; one is the same as the population in Dong Nai, but the other is considered identical to ssp.pitmani. This is very interesting, either these are variations of duboisi or ssp.pitmani is entering this area. Furthermore, there are two male specimens in the NHML that were collected in "Cochinchina - Annam border". They are closer to variation of pitmani and differ from the specimens shown above. I tentatively treat these as duboisi, but further taxonomic study and distributional surveys are needed.
