The butterfly is rare in Thailand.
Ek-Amnuay ([2007],2012) recorded it from 'Yala and Nakhon Si Thammarat', but the illustrated specimen was from W. Malaysia and no reliable specimens from Thailand were known. The following photo in nature is the first reliable record. It was taken in Surat Thani province on 04.Aug.2022 by Ms. Thitima Sukoson.
