Notes
The butterfly is locally common in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 1000 - 1300m).
The populations from Nan and Xaignabouli are larger in size and have a broader black marginal band on the UpF than the nominotypical subspecies.
These characteristics appear to be similar to those of the taxon gigantea Tytler, 1926 from Manipur.
Further taxonomic study is needed.
