The pale green discal bands on both wings are much narrower than in the nominotypical subspecies and ssp.theoda from W.Malaysia.
The morphological characteristics are closer to the continental nominotypical subspecies, rather than ssp.theoda.
The butterfly is uncommon in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 1000 - 1400m).
The female is unknown.
Further research is needed.
