The butterfly is not rare locally in montane dense forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 50 - 1000m).
The populations in W. Thailand have a quite strong blue lustre and silvery blue patch on the upperside. Examples of photos in Phetchaburi seem to be the same as this taxon, but need to be confirmed by specimens. Further distributional and taxonomic studies are needed.
