Notes
The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 30 - 450m).
Both sexes visit flowers and males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
Jeratthitikul et al. (2009) reported its distribution from S.E.Thailand (Ko Chang, Trat) without any specimen record.
I have never seen any specimens from S.E.Thailand until now, and this could be an erroneous locality.
Therefore, I would like to exclude it until a reliable specimen is discovered.
