Notes

The butterfly is locally common in forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 100 - 900m). Both sexes visit flowers. Males are frequently observed mud-puddling along stream banks and at puddles. Females mimic Ideopsis gaura (Danainae) and are completely indistinguishable from it in flight.
EK-Amnuay ([2007],2012) recorded it from 'Ranong', however it is considered rather doubtful. Hitherto no one has seen any specimens from Ranong area. Further distributional research is needed.
