This is the first and a single reliable record from Thailand. The specimen was obtained by Prasobsuk Sukkit on 09.Apr.2014 in Betong, Yala.
Ek-Amnuay,[2007],2012 recorded it from 'Phang-nga' and 'Than To', but the figured specimen is ssp.chironides. The data of 'Yala' is considered to be incorrect location or misidentification of Graphium bathycles. Page & Treadaway,2014 listed it from 'S.Thailand', however it lacks details.
Some individuals of Graphium bathycles are very similar to Graphium chironides malayanum and examination of male genitalia is needed for identification.
