Notes

The butterfly is locally common in montane forests at moderate to high elevations (Alt. 700 - 1300m) and is frequently found on top of mountains. Both sexes visit flowers. Males form flight paths along mountain ridges, flying very fast and high, and never stoping. Occasionally it comes to streams to suck water.
