Notes

The butterfly is rare in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 1000 - 1300m).
This specimen is rather different from ssp.larutensis Pendlebury, 1933 from W.Malaysia. But, only one female specimen has been known from Thailand. Therefore, identification will be withheld until a male specimen is obtained. Kimura et al. (2014) recorded Tajuria berenis larutensis from Than To WF., Yala. However, no specimens exist and it is highly doubtful. Therefore, it is not considered an official record.
