The specimen from Laos shown above is the first discovery in Laos.
It is a rather localized species.
However, it is not rare in its habitats.
The butterfly is found in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 150 - 700m).
Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
The female is still unknown.
Further research is needed.
