Notes
The butterfly is common in montane forest at moderate to high elevations (Alt. 300 - 1600m) and males are territorial on shrubs or undergrowth.
The relationship between populations from Vietnam to SE. Thailand and the ssp.odilina from C. Thailand to C. Myanmar is difficult to establish.
The dry season form of the nominotypical subspecies looks very similar to the wet season form of odilina and cannot be clearly distinguished from that taxon,
whereas odilina has a distinct dry season form.
I assume that they are a large cline from Vietnam to C. Myanmar, and taxon odilina might be a synonym of julii as Monastyrskii (2019) mentioned.
Further taxonomic study is needed.
