Notes
The butterfly is common in montane forest at low to moderate elevations (alt.300m - 800m) and it is frequently seen along streams and on hilltops.
Males make their territories on shrubs at the forest edge or inside of the forest, and fly in circles at high speed over open areas.
The record from Pak Jong, C.Thailand in Godfrey,1930 is somewhat doubtful. I am pending it until it is reconfirmed with a reliable specimen.
