Notes

New to Thailand.
I recorded it from Chiang Mai and Lampang, N.Thailand as Pseudocoladenia festa on my website, however, these were misidentification of Pseudocoladenia fatua as Huang,2021 pointed out. The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 1100 - 1300m) and is found around small streams. Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water. This species is sympatric with Pseudocoladenia fabia and Pseudocoladenia eacus dhyana in its habitat.
Further taxonomic and distributional studies, including DNA analysis, are needed.
