Notes
A new genus Aurivittia Grishin, 2019 was proposed for Plesioneura aurivittata, its close relative Plesioneura cameroni and Celaenorrhinus vietnamicus on the basis of molecular analysis and morphology.
The butterfly is locally common in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 30 - 800m).
Both sexes visit flowers.
They often fly out from bushes along the trail and rest on the underside of leaves with their wings spread.
