Notes
The butterfly is locally not uncommon in forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 150 - 1200m) and is crepuscular.
Males are frequently observed mud-puddling along stream banks and at puddles.
The area from the northern part of peninsular Thailand to central Vietnam seems to be a transition zone between ssp.sena and ssp.uniformis.
Both taxa are sympatric, and intermediate individuals are often found together.
