Monastyrskii & Vu (2021) considered latifasciata, crystalina and critias as the same species. Subsequently, Nakamura & Lang (2023) elevated crystalina and critias to the specific rank. We examined a male specimen of crystalina from Ha Giang, N. Vietnam. If this data is correct, it would support Nakamura & Lang's view that latifasciata and crystalina are separate species, given their overlapping distribution in this area. Further taxonomic studies, including molecular analysis, are needed.
