The butterfly is locally common in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 100 - 900m).
Both sexes visit flowers.
Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
Females mimic Ideopsis gaura (Danainae) and are completely indistinguishable from it in flight.
EK-Amnuay,[2007],2012 recorded it from 'Ranong', however it is considered rather doubtful.
Hitherto no one has seen any specimens from Ranong area.
Further distributional research is needed.
