The butterfly is very rare and is known only two records from Thailand until now. The recent record in Kanchanaburi by Mr.Antonio Giudici, it was found in montane primary forest at moderate elevation along the streams.
Sheela et al.,2019 figured female "type" specimen, However, de Nicéville described this species by a single male. Thus it is considered not a type specimen.
