The butterfly is uncommon in lowland montane forests.
The figured specimens in Ek-Amnuay,[2007],2012 seem to be two mixed taxa.
The left male seems the nominotypical subspecies from W.Malaysia.
And the right 'Female' [recte Male] is from Khlong Naka, Ranong.
The nominotypical subspecies has not been found from Thailand until now.
However, the record from Betong, Yala might be ssp.domitia.
Unfortunately, it was only a photo in nature and cannot be conclusively dentified.
We need specimens for confirmation.
