The populations from W.Malaysia, P.Thailand and C.Vietnam have very reduced red markings on the male UpF. It seems to be a different taxon.
Of the illustrated males from Ek-Amnuay ([2007],2012), the individual on the left is considered to be from W.Malaysia. The male photo in nature was taken on 31.Dec.2015 and the female specimen was obtained on 13.Nov.2022 by Satawan Atdhabhan in Yala province, P.Thailand. They seem to be this taxon. Further taxonomic study is needed.
