The butterfly is locally uncommon in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 800 - 1450m) and often rest on the underside of leaves.
Pinratana (1981) recorded this species from 'Nakhon Nayok' but we could not confirm the specimen. Identification of closely related species requires examination of genitalia. Further distributional research is needed.
