Notes
The butterfly is very common in montane and secondary forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 30 - 700m).
Males frequently come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water.
The populations in peninsular Thailand are not so clearly distinguished from the enominotypical subspecies, as noted by Kimura et al. (2014).
Further taxonomic study is needed.
