The record of Doi Pha Hom Pok, Chiang Mai in Ek-Amnuay ([2007], 2012) is incorrect. Correctly, the specimen was obtained in Pattani, P. Thailand.
A male specimen from Trang has similar markings to chinensis on the UpF, but the base of vein 4 is not swollen.
The butterfly is locally not uncommon in lowland forests (250–450 m a.s.l.). Both Miletus gaesa and Miletus chinensis are allopatric in Betong, Yala.
