The record of Doi Pha Hom Pok, Chiang Mai in Ek-Amnuay ([2007],2012) is incorrect.
Correctly, the specimen was obtained in Pattani, P.Thailand.
A male specimen from Trang has similar markings to chinensis on the UpF, but the base of vein 4 is not swollen.
The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 250 - 450m).
Both Miletus gaesa and Miletus chinensis are allopatric in Betong, Yala.
