Notes
New to Thailand.
The butterfly is uncommon in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 150 - 350m).
The figured specimens, figs.33-34 in Kimura (1998b) and a male in Kimura et al. (2014) shown as Deramas livens evansi from Yala are considered to be Deramas alixae based on ground color and markings on the underside.
The male specimen in figs.31-32 in Kimura (1998b) seems variation of Deramas alixae or possibly Deramas nelvis, however the identification of this specimen is very difficult and requires examination of genitalia.
Further taxonomic study and distributional research are needed.
