New to Laos.
The butterfly is very localized, but not rare in its habitat.
It is found in montane forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 700 - 1300m).
Hitherto, this species is found allopatric with Euthalia monilis.
Male and female type specimens of recta, illustrated in Sheela et al. (2019), are considered to be conspecific with this population,
however the genitalia of type specimen needs to be confirmed. Further distributional research and taxonomic study are needed.
