Notes

The specimens from Omkoi, Chiang Mai province, NW. Thailand are clearly different from ssp.shania. The first discovery in Thailand was the specimen shown above collected by Wan on 13.Apr.1993 in Omkoi.
As I mentioned on the page of Euthalia nara shania, I consider that taxon nara has two strains. I think this population belongs to the nara - (anyte ?) - kalawrica group, and I suspect that these are different species from the shania group. I tentatively treat this as Euthalia nara kalawrica. Further taxonomic study is needed.
