Notes
The butterfly is common in montane forest at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 30 - 700m).
Males are territorial on shrubs and trees.
Both sexes are polymorphic.
Females in Peninsular Thailand are generally of the Tanaecia form, and the continental form is rare.
I tentatively treat all populations in P. Thailand as this taxon.
Further taxonomic study is needed.
