Notes
The butterfly is locally not rare in montane forest at low elevations (Alt. 150 - 350m).
Yokochi (1999) recorded it from S. Thailand, but I have never seen any specimens from P. Thailand.
Considering its distribution in Langkawi, this taxon is most likely distributed in the peninsular region.
The population in Sa Kaeo province, E. Thailand is variable and some specimens are close to ssp.osadai.
Further taxonomic study and distributional research are needed.
