Notes
The butterfly is not rare in montane forest at low to moderate elevations (alt.40m - 1000m).
Population from C. to S.E. & E.Thailand to Vietnam, known as jahnides, tends to white markings on the upper surface of female to be more distinct. However it is highly variable in whole areas, and individual and seasonal variation seems to be more pronounced than geographic variation.
