Notes

The butterfly is locally common in forests at low to moderate elevations (100 - 1,100 m a.s.l.) and is often found at forest edges. Both sexes visit flowers. Males are territorial on shrubs or undergrowth and are occasionally observed mud-puddling along stream banks and at puddles.
Godfrey (1932) recorded this species from Ranong, P. Thailand, but this is somewhat doubtful. Therefore, it is on hold until a reliable specimen is confirmed.
