The butterfly is uncommon in secondary and montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 30 - 600m) and is often found at forest edges and grasslands. Both sexes visit flowers and males occasionally come to the banks of streams and puddles to suck water. Further distributional research is needed.
