Notes

The butterfly is locally common in fields and open areas around secondary and montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 10 - 1000m). Both sexes visit flowers.
The whitish submarginal spots on the UpH of both males and females are rather variable. However, these spots are generally reduced and individuals are larger in size than the nominotypical subspecies.
