Notes
The butterfly is locally common in montane forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 450 - 1100m).
Inayoshi (2007) reported Charaxes harmodius ssp. from Ranong, P.Thailand.
However, it is considered to be a misidentification of this species.
Moreover I consider the records of harmodius from Vietnam are likely to be this taxon.
