The population from Laos which figured in Osada, Uémura & Uehara,1999 have broader white band on the UpF than ssp.gabrieli and band is not diffuse as ssp.siamensis. It is quite similar to ssp.amplifascia from Myanmar. I treat it as ssp.amplifascia provisionally, although there is a geographic problem between Myanmar and Laos populations. Further taxonomic study is needed.
