Notes

The butterfly is locally not rare in montane dry forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 1200 - 1330m).
Nakamura (2025) described the population from Champasak, S. Laos as ssp.thevada. I provisionally treat it as a separate subspecies, but suspect that it may be a range of intraspecific variation. Further taxonomic study is needed.
