Notes
The butterfly is common in montane and secondary forests at low to moderate elevations (Alt. 300 - 1300m).
Males form flight paths and are frequentlly found at hilltops.
Both sexes visit flowers.
Although only a few specimens have been examined,
the individuals from Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan in the northern part of peninsular Thailand seem to be an intermediate population between the nominotypical subspecies and ssp.eranthos.
Further taxonomic study and distributional research are needed.
