The butterfly is locally common in forests at low elevations (Alt. 30 - 350m). Males are frequently observed mud-puddling along stream banks and at puddles.
The photo record from Phetchaburi is likely to be this taxon, however official identification is pending due to lack of specimens. A detailed comparison by specimen is needed.
