Notes
The butterfly is uncommon in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 200 - 300m).
My female specimen from Nan that was figured in Ek-Amnuay ([2007],2012) as Rapala melida nicevillei was a misidentification of Rapala rhoecus.
In Thailand, this species is known only from the southeastern to eastern regions so far.
