Kanchanaburi : 1♂ (photo by A.Giudici).
The butterfly is rare and is known only three records from Thailand until now.
The recent records in Kanchanaburi and Surat Thani (Koh Phangan dist.) were found by Mr.Antonio Giudici.
They were found in montane primary forest at low to moderate elevations.
Sheela et al.,2019 figured female 'type' specimen, however, Nicéville described this species based on a single male. Thus it is considered not a type specimen.
