The butterfly is uncommon in montane forests at low to moderate elevations and is occasionally found at hilltops.
The population in Phetchaburi, northern peninsular Thailand, is only known from a photo record, but no specimens are available.
Thus it is unclear to which subspecies it belongs.
Confirmation by specimen is needed.
