Notes

The butterfly is uncommon in montane semi-dried forests at moderate elevations (Alt. 500 - 900m). Males are occasionally territorial on trees at hilltops from 14:00 - 15:00.
Godfrey,1916 recorded a female from 'Chonburi', however, it is possibly Dacalana sinhara aoyamai. Further distributional research is needed.
