This is the first reliable record from Thailand. The specimens are obtained by Antonio Giudici on 29.Jun.2018 in Satun province.
Pinratana,1981 recorded Arhopala myrzala lammas from Songkhla, however the figured specimen is Arhopala bazaloides, and the figured specimen shown in Ek-Amnuay,[2007],2012 is from Malaysia.
The butterfly is uncommon in montane forests at low elevations.
