The butterfly is rare in montane forests at high elevations (Alt. 1600m over).
Koiwaya,2007 synonymized ssp.inthanonius with ssp.pseudoletha which is found from Assam to N.Myanmar, however blue markings on the UpF of female are much more enlarged than ssp.disparatus. Therefore I follow Kimura et al.2014 and treat it as a distinct subspecies. Further taxonomic study is needed.
