Pinratana (1981) recorded this taxon from Loei, Thailand. The specimen is only illustrated on the underside, and the image is unclear and not well defined. However, the specimen is most likely to be Everes argiades. Therefore, I remove the record from Thailand until a reliable specimen is found.
Nazari et al. (2025) suggested that this population is closely related to Huegelia irungbami Fric & Nazari, 2025 from Manipur. Further taxonomic and distributional studies are needed.
