The butterfly is common in lowland primary forests (10–400 m a.s.l.) in the Peninsular region.
The male specimen from Chanthaburi, S.E. Thailand had lost its abdomen. Although I was not able to examine any genitalia, I tentatively treat it as this taxon. Further taxonomic study is needed.
