Notes
The butterfly is locally common in montane forest at moderate elevations (Alt.500m - 1000m) and frequently comes to rotten fruits that has fallen to the ground.
The records of Godfrey (1916,1930) from 'Prae [Phrae]' are doubtful.
I have not seen any specimens from this area, therefore I have excluded it from the distribution map.
I treat the populations of Mae Hong Son and Phetchabun-Chaiyaphum as the same taxon.
However, the distribution pattern is somewhat strange.
It has isolated distribution in northwestern and central-northern part of the country.
Further taxonomic and distributional studies are needed.
