This is a reliable record of the species from Thailand. The larvae were found and bred by Mr. Supat Sophonviwatkul in Chanthaburi province.
The identification of species in this genus requires examination of the male genitalia. Therefore, previous records from Thailand are questionable.
The butterfly is localised and uncommon in montane forests at low elevations (Alt. 70 -100m). Further distributional research is needed.
